About Me

I study in the Three-Year M.Arch program at UF CityLab and plan to achieve the architecture master’s degree in 2021. I worked as a graphic designer for three years in Beijing, China. Several years ago, I moved to Florida as a new immigrant. I am particularly interested in fine art and design. I started to take Architecture drafting and Auto CAD class at Daytona State College. Moreover, I got an architectural intern job at Joseph Pozzuoli Architect firm in Flagler Beach. Through nearly two years of working, I have realized that architecture will be the career of my entire life. I have enrolled in NCARBs AXP to obtain my license to practice architecture.
I enjoy the academic life in CityLab. I am continually learning new things and exploring my creativity. I will keep on working hard to become a licensed architect.
Architectural Designer 2018- 2021

Assist with the development and implementation of Drawing Management, information management, and repository solutions. Work with the Design Director and team members on presentations, design development, and production. Work under the direction of an Architect. Work directly with other staff. Assists in the development of architectural solutions to meet project specifications. Gathers information, makes studies, performs calculations, and prepares original rough layouts and sketches to present design proposal. Train and manage the development of BIM execution plans and content control. Assist staff architects and will be responsible for BIM management and drafting of project designs and construction documents
Architectural Intern 2015- 2017

Develop hand drawings and sketches to digital files by using AutoCAD and AutoCAD Architecture. Create and update existing buildings floor plans and elevations for subsequent renovations. Create and render 3D digital models for the clients. Building design code research and proposing design solutions for parking. Site visits including measurement drawing and photographic documentation.
Graphic Designer 2010- 2013

Managed and updated the company’s website. Designed the company’s brochures, posters, adverts, exhibition graphic, etc. Liaised with the sales and marketing teams to organize the company’s exhibitions and other activities. Worked in the creation and development of new designs and visual concepts.
